Dear
brother Ladislao, God bless you too.
You
know that, when we had (64), we have a World traveled, but I'm going to give
you small life dossier, after I leave Mount.
When I
leave Mount ST Benedict, was 1968, long time ago, because a family misfortune,
my grandpa was my tutor and he was encharged to pay my School expences in
Trinidad, but he died in a plane crash, near Maiquetía airport in Dicember
1968. So my parents couldn't continue pay my high School. Therefore I had to do
my high School at Maturín my home town.
I
couldn't have revalidate studies, I had to begin high School again, so I
studied:
Form 1 and 2, de at
Liceo Marcos Antonio Saluzzo. Maturín. Monagas
Form 3 and 4, Liceo
Militar izado Monseñor Arias. Marches. Miranda
Form 5, Liceo Martín
J. Sanabria. Valencia. Carabobo, here I graduated at high School un humanite.
When I
finish high School, I started working, because I impregnated a woman, but I
didn't get married, and from that relationship I got three daughters.
Then I
did a course of fish culture in the M.A.C., and I got a job in POLAR enterprises.
I was sales supervisor, and finally sales manager in charge.
Working
there, my father bought a cattlefarm and after he died, and I had to encharge
my father goods, pass two years until finish legal paper, to give my brothers
their inheritance.
Working
like a cattleman I suffered again another a family misfortune, my two older
daughters got ill, luppus eritomatite disease and then died, the first at 14
and the other at 20. One year after,
when my daughters died I became bankrupt, because I had to pay all the debts of
my daughters’ disease. Of them the
younger survived, thanks to God. Now she
is married and has two beautiful kids.
I had
separated from that woman in 1986, so I was single those year and I found a job
in an environmental company. That was in
October.
In
2000 I met a young women. With de her I
have a son, he Is 14 now, is the negrito who has been in my portal web. I'm
single again. It is very difficult to
live with a younger woman than us.
I was
shut out of the environmental company in 2017, because our works department did
not have work, they closed it and now I don't have any job at all.
I have
20 years of experience and knowledge in Bioremedy and treatment of petroleum waste,
driving and final disposal of hazardous waste of petroleum Development.
I enclose
to you my working life sheet,
In
2013 I got a degree in Environment management
In
respect of meeting Olds Boys any time, only Adolfo Aumaitre, because he lives
in Tucupita and I was living there. The cities where I did live, most time in
Maturín, sometime in Tucupita, Cd. Bolívar Barracas del Orinoco, Valencia, and
two years internal in Mariche studies form 2 and 3.
This
is my small life summary, after I left Mount.
Well
brother Ladislao, anything you can do for me to find a job with the brother in
Trinidad, I will be grateful of you, don't worry in my case I can work in
anything you find me according with my age (64)and be sure I never let you
down.
Always your, best
regards
Jesús López

Dear Nigel,
It's good that Don
Mitchell is organising a reunion of the old boys of the Abbey
School. I often think of the school & am very grateful for the
teaching I received there & the discipline it taught me in
life. At 72 I'm still working & enjoying it so coming to
Trinidad is not a reality for me but any of you ever come to St. Lucia I would
love to see & entertain you. All the best for Christmas & the coming
year. Bernard Johnson /// Dec 17: It was really great to hear from
you. Contrary to popular belief I'm not retired, just
tired! But I enjoy working, especially making deals &
yes, I do have a boat or two which are helping to keep me poor. We
live right on the water in Rodney Bay in the north of the island with the boats
in the front garden. On your way to Trinidad why not come down here
with the family & spend a few days (or weeks) as our guests?
I'd love to see you again. I have a daughter & three grandchildren in
Calgary & they're coming for Christmas in two days time so I may well be up
your way in the summer but no plans yet. Wishing you & your family all the
best for Christmas & the coming year. No cup cakes for me as
I'm diabetic. //

years old Brother Marius beaten.
Please
pray for a permanent recovery.
Catholic
News confirmed that during the beating Br Marius fell, hit his head and
suffered two broken ribs.
He was
also said to be “in terrible pain”.
The
man escaped.
When
contacted, Abbot John Pereira OSB confirmed the incident stating that Br Marius
was discharged from the hospital last Sunday morning (September 2).
Personally…I
do not remember him from my time at the Mount.
Suspect
that some of you may.

I never know when it might be taken from me. Humble me that I may prepare for
my last days by living today as a witness to your love, your grace, your
compassion and mercy. So that whenever that day comes O God, I can hear your
